Medical Aid & Textile Recycling for Africa Cause (MATRAC) is a dedicated non-profit organization based in the UK, committed to enhancing healthcare and promoting sustainable development in African communities.
At MATRAC, our purpose is to bridge the gap between surplus and need. We aim to create a healthier, more sustainable future for African communities by leveraging the resources and generosity of individuals and organizations in the UK.

MATRAC's Objectives
(1) The charity’s objects (“Objects”) are specifically restricted to the following:
(a) The objects for which the foundation is established are:
1. The relief and assistance of older people in residential care homes and associated services in the United Kingdom by the provision of volunteers to increase social contact and well-being of those residents, and reduce their social isolation, and by the provision, support, and training of such volunteers.
2. To relieve poverty, distress and suffering in any part of the world (including disease, sickness or mental or physical disability) and whether arising from any public calamity or otherwise.
3. To contribute to the conservation and protection of the physical and natural environment for the public benefit through the undertaking of recycling, including the provision of recycling facilities for textile, and the promotion of the practice of recycling textile, clothing, and other items.
4. To support poor and vulnerable people with the provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their condition of life.
5. To provide medical care advice and treatment for poor persons child welfare, poor expectant mothers, malnutrition, family planning, inoculation, and hygiene.
